Song 65

Today’s song was built on an acoustic guitar part that happened to be the first thing I played when I picked up my guitar. I love when that happens! This song reminds me of The Who. I think the bass sounds a little “Entwistley”… which is a good thing. Check it out!

lyrics

I'm a million miles from forgiven
Waiting for my life to come undone
I can take the ties, binding up my mind
Waiting to find a better way

If I make myself blind, maybe I can see
If all those words mean anything to me
I suffer my mistakes or find another way

I don't know how many times I've tried
Losing count in an endless haze
I can break the chains, or leave them where they lay
Waiting to find a better way

If I make myself blind, maybe I can see
If all those words mean anything to me
I suffer my mistakes or find another way

The sun burns my face, standing in place
Waiting to find a better way
I suffer my mistakes or find a better way

I suffer my mistakes or find another way
