Song number 29

Today was one of those days where the song felt like it wrote itself. I really like the way it turned out. I was going to play some guitar parts on this one, but I thought they would just get in the way. For some reason this song reminds me of a mix between Peter Gabriel and Depeche Mode. It’s a cool groove.

lyrics

I can see through blindness, I can hear through the din
Even all the mindless can see the trouble you're in
Blame it on the madness, blame it on the cold
Hiding from your sadness won't keep you from growing old
Where will you run, where will you hide now

How does it feel, sinking at the edge of the world
How does it feel, sinking at the edge of the world

When you close your eyes, do you say your prayers
Do you ignore the lies, are you even aware
Blame it on the madness, or try to walk away
Chasing after sadness won't ever make them stay
Who will you ask to forgive all your faults

How does it feel, sinking at the edge of the world
How does it feel, sinking at the edge of the world

How does it feel, sinking at the edge of the world
How does it feel, sinking at the edge of the world
