Song 211

It's been a quiet and rainy day today in Chicagoland. A slow rumble of thunder in the distance. A rather dreary day. The mood of this song reflects the weather in a way. It's sort of muted and somber, but sweet. Well, bitter sweet maybe? I feel like it came out nicely though. I think tomorrow I'm going to try to be a bit more experimental. I need to rock now. Eh, but who knows how I'll feel tomorrow...

lyrics

I see the world in your eyes
I feel alive in your smile, I feel new

I never thought I'd see this day
I wish I knew what to say, and kiss you

The whole world passes by my door
I won't see them anymore, without you, without you

I've been lost this whole time
You come around and find me
Pull me from that edge

Whispers in the wind
Asked me to pretend, I'm happy

If I tried on my own
I'd still be hiding in the snow, forever, forever

I've been lost this whole time
You come around and find me
Pull me from that edge

Come on down and reach me
I give myself another try
I've come so far from where I began
I never found out why

I've been lost this whole time
You come around and find me
Pull me from that edge
Pull me from that edge
Pull me from that edge

I see the world in your eyes
