Song number 10

Well, I’m up to 10 songs now. That’s something. Well, ten somethings. I discovered that trying to write and record a song when you’re hungover is not easy. But, I got it done. For some reason I feel like this song was inspired by The Who. But it doesn’t really sound at all like a Who song to me. Maybe I’m just crazy and won’t admit it. Anyway, here ya go:

lyrics

Chemical reactions in my brain
Making me wish for an end to the rain
I wish all the clouds away, long enough to make it home

I run all night, I stand still, I see a light, shining bright
Long enough to make it home

All the fading memories I pretend to use
Sick of talking backwards, sick of the abuse
I chase the winds away from me, long enough to make it home

I run all night, I stand still, I see a light, shining bright
Long enough to make it home

I run all night, I stand still, I see a light, shining bright
Long enough to make it home
