Song 232

I felt like making a ballad similar to those old 70's singer-songwriter songs like James Taylor or Carly Simon or Kermit the Frog. But, as is always the case, my own particular flavor changes the stew all together. It's still technically chicken soup, but it has a lot of spice in it. Or something... I think I need to get something to eat. Anyway, here ya go:

lyrics

Dreaming like a fool in my cocoon
I won't ever stay awake
I'm not crazy, I feel safe
Warm and right in my brain

Floating on a river towards a waterfall
I don't bother to steer
I'm not crazy, I'm just here
Floating my days away

Find me, I'll be home
Try to wake my soul
You'll find me, all alone
Trying to make sense
Of all the fears I've known

Breaking out of sleep like a dream gone wrong
I open up my eyes
I'm not crazy, it was just a dream
But I don't know where I am

Find me, I'll be home
Try to wake my soul
You'll find me, all alone
Trying to make sense
Of all the fears I've known

Please don't make me see
I just want to dream
And forget who I used to be

Find me, I'll be home
Try to wake my soul
You'll find me, all alone
Trying to make sense
Of all the fears I've known
